True confession: I do :( I get very upset when people do this sort of thing, it makes me feel misunderstood as a person in the one medium where I get to be completely open about my ideals. That person’s tone was utterly insulting to me as a member of the survivor community, and made some basic assumptions about me that I feel completely offended by, so I did the offended person thing and wrote them a poem about putting words in people’s mouths. Like you do.
Why make a huge emotional mess of what could have been a simple conversation? Here let me rewrite that exchange without any straw men to fuck it all up:
Anonymous: Yo that post about Mature ratings makes it sound like you’re against content warnings. That is not cool, Luka.
Me: Shit you’re right. That was meant to be part of an ongoing discussion about a specific incident involving an M rating from earlier today, but we went off-thread. I’ll go put a note in that post to clarify this.
