I got assigned a plot in the apartment complex garden today! Mine is smallish, but perfect for my needs. It’s also in full sunlight, which some of the big ones are not. Got a communal hose going on right there at the corner of my plot, too.

Going to grow some green beans, chives (SUCK IT, OTHER PLOTHOLDERS, THEY WILL OWN YOUR SHIT), tomatoes, zucchini if I can keep them alive.

Won’t bother with basil or carrots (basil because they can’t give that shit away fast enough at the food pantry, carrots because mine always come out weird and the farmer’s market does it better than me and they take food stamps). Garlic, onions, grunions.

I want to grow broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage but them shits never work out for me. Lettuce seems like a great idea til I realize I never eat it, cucumbers likewise.

I already have tomato seeds on account of I have some tomatoes handy. I’ll go sprout their shit in a minute here. 

Also marigolds and possibly Aud’s celosia. Because.
