Hiya! I don't know if you've talked about this before- I've only been following you for maybe a month or two! But I'm genuinely curious what draws you to crystals and rocks. Do you think they're just pretty? Or is it how they are created that really get you? Spirituality? c: I like rocks and crystals also, but I really know almost nothing about the ones I have :<
The science, the pretty, and the thrill of *finding* them. It’s basically like a real life pirate hoard treasure score. I used to collect broken safety glass and keep it in a little fancy music box and pretend it was a treasure chest.
The only spirituality I get out of crystals is the awe of my science-god in its infinite complexity—I tend to be kind of a dick about healing and chakras and stuff (spent some time with a new age cult, came out angry and disillusioned)
Really it all comes down to the fact that I’m a magpie. Or possibly fanon davesprite :D
